The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful 1

Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; 2 the Merciful, the Most Merciful, 3 Lord of the Day of Judgement. 4 Thee alone do we worship; and unto Thee alone do we turn for aid. 5 Direct us on to the Straight Way, 6 the path of those to whom You have granted blessings, those who are neither subject to Your anger nor have gone astray. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
