The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 who determined and guided, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
