O People who Believe – fight the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find severity in you, and know well that Allah is with the pious. 123 When a chapter (of the Quran) is revealed, some people ask others, "Whose faith among you people has received strength from this (revelation)?" It (the revelation) certainly strengthens the faith of the believers and they consider it to be a glad news. 124 But it adds disbelief to disbelief for those whose hearts are filled with doubt, and they die disbelieving. 125 Do they not see that they are tried every year once or twice? Yet they do not repent, nor would they be admonished. 126 And whenever a surah is revealed, they look one at another (as who should say): Doth anybody see you? Then they turn away. Allah turneth away their hearts because they are a folk who understand not. 127 There has come to you a Messenger of your own. Your suffering distresses him: he is deeply concerned for your welfare and full of kindness and mercy towards the believers. 128 But if they turn away, say, "God suffices me: there is no deity but He: in Him I have put my trust. He is the Lord of the Glorious Throne." 129
