Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 save him who may eavesdrop, and then a bright flame pursues him. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 We have provided on it sustenance for you, and for those you cannot provide. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away). 23 And indeed We know those among you who came forward and indeed We know those among you who remained behind. 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
