Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 On a straight path, 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
