Therefore remind! by thy Lord's blessing thou art not a soothsayer neither possessed. 29 Or do they say: "[He is but] a poet - let us wait what time will do unto him"? 30 Say (unto them): Except (your fill)! Lo! I am with you among the expectant. 31 Do their minds prompt them to say such things, or are they a people immersed in transgression?” 32 Or do they say: "He himself has composed this [message]"? Nay, but they are not willing to believe! 33 (If they are truthful in this), then let them produce a discourse of similar splendour. 34 Or were they created of themselves? Or are they the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and earth? Nay, but they have not sure faith. 36 Or, are the treasures of your Lord in their keeping? Or, are they the controllers? 37 Or have they a ladder by which they could [ascend to ultimate truths and] listen [to what is beyond the reach of human perception]? Let, then, any of them who have listened [to it] produce a manifest proof [of his knowledge]! 38 Or has He daughters while you have sons? 39 Or do you demand any wages from them so that they are burdened with expense? 40 Or have they the unseen so that they write (it) down? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against you O Muhammad SAW)? But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) are themselves in a plot! 42 Do they have any god other than Allah? Exalted be Allah above whatever they associate (with Him in His Divinity). 43 Even if they were to see a part of the heavens falling down upon them, they would say, "It is only dense cloud". 44 Leave them then till they meet that day of theirs wherein they shall be made to swoon (with terror): 45 A Day whereon their plotting will avail them not at all, nor will they be succoured. 46 And there surely awaits the evildoers a chastisement beyond even that, but most of them know it not. 47 And be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord; surely thou art before Our eyes. And proclaim the praise of thy Lord when thou arisest, 48 And in the night, give Him glory too, and at the setting of the stars. 49

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
