It is He who made the earth subservient to you that you may travel all around it, and eat of things He has provided; and to Him will be your resurrection. 15 Have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not cause the earth to swallow you when lo! it is convulsed? 16 Or do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not send against you a storm of stones? Then you would know how [severe] was My warning. 17 And assuredly those before them belied; then what wise hath been My wrath! 18 Do they not see the birds above them spreading and closing their wings? None save the Merciful sustains them. Surely, He observes all things. 19 Who is he besides the Most Beneficent that can be an army to you to help you? The disbelievers are in nothing but delusion. 20 Who can provide for you, if He withholds His provision? Yet they obstinately persist in rebellion and avoidance of the truth. 21 Who is better guided: he who walks grovelling on his face, or he who walks upright on a Straight Path? 22 Say, "It is He who brought you into being, and made ears and eyes and hearts for you, yet you are seldom grateful." 23 Say, “It is He Who has spread you out in the earth, and towards Him you will be raised.” 24 And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?" 25 Say: 'The knowledge is with God; I am only a clear warner.' 26 But when they will behold it proximating sad will be the countenances of those who disbelieve, and it will be said: this is that which ye have been calling for. 27 Say: "Just think: If God destroys me and those with me, or is benevolent to us, who will then protect the unbelievers from a painful doom?" 28 Say to them: “He is Merciful, and it is in Him that we believe, and it is in Him that we put all our trust. Soon will you know who is in manifest error.” 29 Say, "Have you not thought that if your water was to dry up, who would bring you water from the spring?" 30
