He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ HE FROWNED AND turned away, 1 Because there came to him the blind man. 2 But what could tell thee but that perchance he might grow (in spiritual understanding)?- 3 Or that he may accept advice, so the advice may benefit him. 4 Now he who waxes indifferent, 5 to a rich man, 6 Though it is no blame to thee if he grow not (in spiritual understanding). 7 And he who comes to thee eagerly 8 and fearfully, 9 So you leave him, and are engrossed elsewhere! 10 No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder; 11 and so, whoever is willing may remember Him 12 (It is) in Books held (greatly) in honour, 13 Exalted, pure. 14 (Written) by the hands of scribes- 15 Honourable and Pious and Just. 16 [But only too often] man destroys himself: how stubbornly does he deny the truth! 17 From what stuff hath He created him? 18 From a drop of liquid; He created him and then set several measures for him. 19 He makes his path easy for him. 20 Then He causes his death and provides a grave for him. 21 then, He will raise him when He wills. 22 Indeed, he has not fulfilled that which He has ordered him. 23 Then let man look to his food, 24 For that We pour forth water in abundance, 25 Thereafter We cleave the earth in clefts, 26 And We made corn grow, 27 and vines, and reeds, 28 And olives and date palms, 29 And enclosed gardens luxuriant. 30 and fruits and pastures 31 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 32 But when the Shout cometh 33 On the Day whereon a man shall flee from his brother, 34 And his mother and his father 35 his wife and his children. 36 Each man will have enough cares that day. 37 Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 38 laughing, and rejoicing, 39 some faces on that day shall be dusty 40 Blackness overcoming them. 41 those -- they are the unbelievers, the libertines. 42
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
