The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
