Those who deny the truth say, "When we have turned to dust like our fathers, shall we be brought back to life again? 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say: "Go all over the earth and behold what happened in the end to those [who were thus] lost in sin!" 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 And indeed your Lord knows what is hidden in their bosoms, and what they disclose. 74 And not a thing is there hidden in heaven and earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 BEHOLD, this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel most [of that] whereon they hold divergent views; 76 certainly it is guidance and a blessing for the believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 You cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear your call, when they turn their backs on it, 80 nor can you guide the blind out of their error. You can make only those hear you who believe in Our revelations and surrender themselves to Us. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
