The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 (It is) the kindled Fire of Allah, 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
