Remember the Day whereon We shall call all mankind with their record; then whosoever will be vouchsafed his book in his right hand, those shall read their book, and they shall not be wronged a whit. 71 Whoso is blind here will be blind in the Hereafter, and yet further from the road. 72 And surely they had purposed to turn you away from that which We have revealed to you, that you should forge against Us other than that, and then they would certainly have taken you for a friend. 73 and had We not confirmed thee, surely thou wert near to inclining unto them a very little; 74 whereupon We would have made you taste double (the chastisement) in the world and double (the chastisement) after death, and then you would have found none to help you against Us. 75 They were bent upon uprooting you from this land and driving you away from it. But were they to succeed, they would not be able to remain after you more than a little while. 76 (This was Our) Sunnah (rule or way) with the Messengers We sent before you (O Muhammad SAW), and you will not find any alteration in Our Sunnah (rule or way, etc.). 77
