Hizb 46
< random >
And verily Yunus was of the sent ones. 139 He fled to the overloaded ship. 140 and cast lots, and was of the rebutted, 141 Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy. 142 Had he not glorified God, 143 He would have tarried in its belly till the day when they are raised; 144 ۞ but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, 145 And We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him; 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (people) or even more. 147 and they believed. So We let them enjoy life for a while. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Or created We the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Pay heed! It is their slander that they say. 151 "Allah has begotten children"? but they are liars! 152 “Has he chosen daughters instead of sons?” 153 What is amiss with you and your judgment? 154 Will ye not then reflect? 155 Or, do you have a clear authority? 156 Then bring your book, if ye say sooth. 157 And they assert a relationship between Him and the jinn; and certainly the jinn do know that they shall surely be brought up; 158 God is too glorious to be described as they describe Him 159 except for God's sincere servants. 160 So surely you and what you worship, 161 Can tempt anyone to rebel against Him. 162 Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. 163 [All forces of nature praise God and say:] "Among us, too, there is none but has a place assigned to it [by Him]; 164 "And we are truly those who stand in rows, 165 We glorify God." 166 And surely they used to say: 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 We would be single-minded slaves of Allah. 169 They have rejected the Quran. They will soon know the consequences (of their disbelief). 170 And surely Our word has gone forth respecting Our servants, the messengers: 171 Most surely they shall be the assisted ones 172 And that Our host, they verily would be the victors. 173 (Muhammad), stay away from them for a while 174 And (then) see them, so they too shall see. 175 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 When it lights in their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of them that are warned! 177 So turn away from them for a while. 178 and see; soon they shall see! 179 Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe. 180 And Peace on the messengers! 181 and all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe. 182
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
