Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. 18 As for the earth, We have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 We let loose fertilizing winds, and bring water from the sky for you to drink; and you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
