BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 These Gardens will abound in green, blooming branches. 48 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 49 In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free); 50 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 51 Therein are two kinds of every fruit. 52 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 53 [In such a paradise the blest will dwell,] reclining upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruit of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 55 Therein are maidens who restrain their glances, whom neither human nor jinn have touched before. 56 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 57 As though they were rubies and pearls. 58 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 59 Shall the recompense of kindness be aught save kindness? 60 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 61 And besides these two are two (other) gardens: 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Two Gardens, dark green and fresh. 64 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 65 In both of them are two springs, spouting. 66 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 67 In them are fruits, palm trees and pomegranates. 68 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 69 In them are women of good behaviour and gorgeous faces. 70 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 71 Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions - 72 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets. 76 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
