No, by the moon! 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 Lo! this is one of the greatest (portents) 35 As a warning unto men, 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
