AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Moses. Behold, he was a chosen one, and was an apostle [of God], a prophet. 51 And we called him from the right side of Mount (Sinai), and made him draw near to Us, for mystic (converse). 52 From Our Mercy We gave him, his brother Aaron, a Prophet. 53 AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Ishmael. Behold, he was always true to his promise, and was an apostle [of God], a prophet, 54 And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and zakah and was to his Lord pleasing. 55 AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Idris. Behold, he was a man of truth, a prophet, 56 And We raised him to an exalted station. 57 These are the ones whom God has favoured: the prophets from among the descendants of Adam and of those whom We carried in the Ark with Noah; the descendants of Abraham, of Israel, and of those whom We have guided and chosen. For when the revelations of the Merciful were recited to them, they fell down, prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ They were succeeded by a people who neglected the Prayers and pursued their lusts. They shall presently meet with their doom, 59 Save him who shall repent and believe and do right. Such will enter the Garden, and they will not be wronged in aught - 60 They will be admitted to the garden of Eden which is the unseen promise of the Beneficent God to His servants. The promise of God will certainly come true. 61 They shall not hear therein any vain discourse, but only: Peace, and they shall have their sustenance therein morning and evening. 62 Such is the Garden which We shall cause those of Our bondmen to inherit who have been God-fearing. 63 (Said Angel Jibreel to Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon them) “And we angels do not come down except by the command of your Lord; to Him only belongs all that is ahead of us and all that is behind us and all that is between them; and your Lord is not forgetful.” 64 And thy Lord is never forgetful, Lord He of the heavens and earth and all that is between them. So serve Him, and be thou patient in His service; knowest thou any that can be named with His Name? 65
