[Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] 25 And ease for me my affair. 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 (That) they may understand my word; 28 Appoint for me a minister from my family 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 “Back me up with him.” 31 And let him share my task 32 That we may exalt You much 33 And remember you a great deal. 34 Lo! Thou art ever Seeing us. 35 God said, "You have been granted your request, Moses." 36 We have bestowed Our favour on you before this 37 When We inspired unto thy mother that which We inspired, 38 “That, ‘Put him into a chest and cast it into the river, so the river shall deposit it on to a shore – therefore one who is an enemy to Me and you, shall pick him up’; and I bestowed upon you love from Myself; and for you to be brought up in My sight.” 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 I have chosen you for Me. 41 Go thou and thy brother with My signs, and slacken not in remembrance of Mine. 42 Go to Pharaoh, for he has become insolent. 43 Then say to him a gentle saying; haply he may be admonished or he may fear. 44 They said: "Our Lord! Verily! We fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us)." 45 Answered He: "Fear not! Verily, I shall be with you two, hearing and seeing [all]. 46 “Therefore go to him and say, ‘We are the sent ones of your Lord, therefore let the Descendants of Israel go with us, and do not trouble them; we have indeed brought to you a sign from your Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance.’ 47 Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away.' " 48 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Who then, O Musa (Moses), is the Lord of you two?" 49 They replied, "Our Lord is the One Who has created all things and has given guidance". 50 Said Firaun, “What is the state of the former generations?” 51 Moses said, "My Lord alone has knowledge of that, recorded in a Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 Eat, [then, of this produce of the soil,] and pasture your cattle [thereon]. In all this, behold, there are messages indeed for those who are endowed with reason: 54
