The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
