Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
