And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment. 41 (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. 42 We restored his family to him, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder to all who are endowed with insight. 43 and, 'Take in thy hand a bundle of rushes, and strike therewith, and do not fail in thy oath.' Surely We found him a steadfast man. How excellent a servant he was! He was a penitent. 44 And remember Our bondmen Ibrahim, and Ishaq, and Yaqub – the men of power and knowledge. 45 Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter]. 46 And behold, in Our sight they were indeed among the elect, the truly good! 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a Reminder. The righteous shall have a good place to return to: 49 Gardens of Eden, whereof the gates are opened for them, 50 They will be comfortably seated; reclining, they will call for abundant fruit and drink; 51 ۞ And with them are the pure spouses, who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, of single age. 52 This is what you are promised for the day of reckoning. 53 Indeed this is Our sustenance, which will never end. 54 All this [for the righteous]: but, verily, the most evil of all goals awaits those who are wont to transgress the bounds of what is right: 55 Hell, where they will burn, an evil resting-place. 56 This (shall be so); so let them taste it, boiling and intensely cold (drink). 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 (We shall say to their leaders): 'This is a troop rushing in with you, there is no welcome for them, they shall roast in the Fire' 59 The followers will say, “In fact, for you! May you not get open space! It is you who brought this calamity upon us!” So what a wretched destination. 60 adding, "Our Lord, give double punishment to those who brought this upon us." 61 And they will say: 'Why do we not see the men that we counted as being among the wicked in here? 62 Is it that we mistakenly made fun of them; or have they disappeared from our sight?” 63 Such, behold, will in truth be the [confusion and] mutual wrangling of the people of the fire! 64
