۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
