The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 and Man says., 'What ails her?' 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
