And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say: 'Journey in the land and see what was the end of the sinners' 69 (Muhammad), do not be grieved (about their disbelief) nor distressed about their evil plans against you. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 Say: 'It may be that part of what you seek to hasten on is already riding behind you' 72 But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. 73 And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 It is a guidance and grace for those who believe. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. 79 Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs. 82
