Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And drive the wicked into Hell like cattle driven to water, 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 Everyone on the Day of Judgment will individually come into the presence of God. 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
