▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
