T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta. Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Koran to you for you to be tired, 2 But as admonition for him who fears -- 3 a revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 The Compassionate on the Throne is established. 5 Unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth, as well as all that is between them and all that is beneath the sod. 6 And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. 7 Allah! There is no Allah save Him. His are the most beautiful names. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Moses? 9 When he saw the fire, he said to his family, "Wait here for I can see a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a burning torch or find a way to some fire". 10 But when he came to the fire, a voice was heard: "O Moses! 11 Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 12 And I! I have chosen thee, hearken thou then to that which shall be revealed. 13 "Verily, I - I alone - am God; there is no deity save Me. Hence, worship Me alone, and be constant in prayer, so as to remember Me! 14 Although it is certain that the Day of Judgment will come, I prefer to keep it almost a secret so that every soul will receive the recompense for what it has done (on its own). 15 "Therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish!".. 16 And what is this in your right hand, O Musa! 17 He said, “This is my staff; I support myself on it, and I knock down leaves for my sheep with it, and there are other uses for me in it.” 18 He said: Cast it down, O Musa! 19 So he cast it down, and lo! it was a serpent, gliding. 20 Allah said:"Grasp it, and fear not, We shall return it to its former state, 21 And thrust thy hand within thine armpit, it will come forth white without hurt. (That will be) another token. 22 That We may go on showing you Our greater signs. 23 Go to Pharaoh; he has waxed insolent.' 24
