۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
