And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
