Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
