Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 excusing or warning, 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40
