The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Alif Lam Mim 1 This is the Scripture whereof there is no doubt, a guidance unto those who ward off (evil). 2 who believe in the Unseen, and perform the prayer, and expend of that We have provided them; 3 And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter. 4 It is they who follow the guidance [which comes from their Sustainer]; and it is they, they who shall attain to a happy state! 5 As for the Disbelievers, Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not it is all one for them; they believe not. 6 God has sealed their hearts and their ears, and over their eyes there is a covering. They will have a terrible punishment. 7
