We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
