Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a marvellous thing! 2 What, when we are dead and become dust? That is a far returning!' 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 But no! They called the truth a lie when it came to them; so they are in a confused state. 5 What, have they not beheld heaven above them, how We have built it, and decked it out fair, and it has no cracks? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 We have sent blessed water down from the sky to grow gardens, harvestable crops 9 and tall palm-trees with spathes compact, 10 as a provision for human beings; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life. Such shall be the Resurrection. 11 The folk of Noah denied (the truth) before them, and (so did) the dwellers at Ar-Rass and (the tribe of) Thamud, 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 And the Dwellers of the Woods, and the people of Tubb’a; each one of them denied the Noble Messengers, so My promised punishment proved true. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a second creation. 15
