And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
