Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 So woe to those who pray 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
