And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers. 80 We showed them miracles but they ignored them. 81 They were hewing the mountains into houses, therein dwelling securely; 82 Then the Blast caught them in the morning 83 And all that which they used to earn availed them not. 84 We did not create the heavens and the earth, and what is between them except in truth. The Hour is sure to come, therefore, forgive them with a gracious pardon. 85 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-creator, the All-knowing. 86 We have indeed bestowed on you the seven oft-repeated verses and the Great Qur'an. 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 And say: "I am indeed a plain warner." 89 As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians). 90 and who have broken the Scripture into fragments -- 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 About what they used to do. 93 So declare to them what We have enjoined, and turn away from idolaters. 94 Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers 95 Those who ascribe another God along with Allah; so they will soon come to know. 96 And assuredly We know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say. 97 Exalt with the praise of your Lord and be one of those who prostrate. 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
