Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
