Indeed, Abraham was a [comprehensive] leader, devoutly obedient to Allah, inclining toward truth, and he was not of those who associate others with Allah. 120 Grateful for His favours: He chose him and guided him to a straight path. 121 And We gave him good in this world, and indeed, in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous. 122 Then We revealed to you: "Follow the way of Abraham with exclusive devotion to Allah. He was not one of those who associated others with Allah in His Divinity." 123 The Sabbath was only appointed for those who were at variance thereon; surely thy Lord will decide between them on the Day of Resurrection, touching their differences. 124 CALL THOU [all mankind] unto thy Sustainer's path with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and argue with them in the most kindly manner - for, behold, thy Sustainer knows best as to who strays from His path, and best knows He as to who are the right-guided. 125 If you have to retaliate, do so to the extent you have been injured; but if you forbear it is best for those who bear with fortitude. 126 And bear with patience, (O Muhammad) - and your patience is only because of the help of Allah - and do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed by their evil plans. 127 For surely Allah is with those who hold Him in fear and do good. 128
