And recite to them the news of Abraham, 69 when he asked his father and his people: "What do you worship?" 70 They said: "We worship idols, and we remain constantly in attendance on them." 71 He said: Do they hear you when you call? 72 or can they benefit or harm you?" 73 They exclaimed: But we found our forefathers doing the same!" 74 He said: "Have you considered what you have been worshipping, 75 you and your fathers, the elders? 76 "Now [as for me, I know that,] verily, these [false deities] are my enemies, [and that none is my helper] save the Sustainer of all the worlds, 77 Who created me, and He doth guide me, 78 Who gives me food and drink, 79 and Who, when I am ill, heals me; 80 who makes me to die and then revives me, 81 It is He whom I expect to forgive my sins on the Day of Judgment. 82 "O my Lord! bestow wisdom on me, and join me with the righteous; 83 And give unto me a good report in later generations. 84 and place me among those who shall inherit the garden of bliss! 85 "Forgive my father, for that he is among those astray; 86 “And do not disgrace me on the day when everyone will be raised.” 87 the Day on which neither wealth will be of any use, nor children, 88 Except him who comes to Allah with a heart free (from evil). 89 For, [on that Day,] paradise will be brought within sight of the God-conscious, 90 And Hellfire will be brought forth for the deviators, 91 It shall be said to them, 'Where is that you were serving 92 beside Allah? Can they be of any help to you, or even be of any help to themselves?" 93 They will then be thrown into Hell with those who had gone astray 94 and Satan's legions, all together. 95 They shall say, as they dispute there one with another, 96 By Allah, we have indeed been in an error manifest. 97 In equating you with the Lord of all the worlds; 98 And none but the guilty led us astray; 99 We have no one to intercede for us before God 100 Nor any loving friend. 101 But if we could but once return, we would be of the believers. 102 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers! 103 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 104

Notes and Instructions
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
