۞ O mankind! Ye are the poor in your relation to Allah. And Allah! He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise. 15 If He wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new creation. 16 That is not a hard thing for Allah. 17 No laden soul shall bear another's load. If one is heavy burdened and calls for his load to be carried, nothing of it will be carried, not even if he is a close relative. You warn only those who fear their Lord in the Unseen, and establish the prayer. He who purifies himself, purifies himself for the good of his own soul. To Allah is the arrival. 18 And the blind and the sighted are not equal! 19 nor darkness and light; 20 Nor are the shade and the heat, 21 And not equal are the living and the dead! Indeed Allah causes them to listen*, whomever He wills; and you cannot make those who are in the graves** listen. (* Listen to guidance **The disbelievers are referred to as dead, whose fates are sealed.) 22 You are no more than a warner. 23 We have sent you with the truth, to give glad tidings and to warn. Never has there been a community to which an admonisher was not sent. 24 And if they deny you - then already have those before them denied. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs and written ordinances and with the enlightening Scripture. 25 so I seized the unbelievers and how terrible was their torment. 26
