▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
