The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 by the promised day, 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 slain were the Men of the Pit, 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 They sat by it 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 And they persecuted them for naught save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 It is He who originates and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Have you not heard the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 written on a preserved Tablet. 22
