And beware a Day whereon We will raise up from each community a witness, then those who have disbelieved will not be given leave, nor they will be permitted to please Allah. 84 And when the evildoers behold the chastisement, it shall not be lightened for them, and no respite shall be given them. 85 And when those who have associated will behold their associate-gods, they will say: our Lord! yonder are our associate-gods upon whom we have been calling beside Thee, they will proffer them the saying: verily ye are liars. 86 And they will offer God surrender that day, and there shall go astray from them that they were forging. 87 Those who disbelieved and prevented from the way of Allah – We added punishment upon the punishment – the recompense of their mischief. 88 And on that Day We shall raise up from every nation a witness from their own against them, and We shall bring you (Prophet Muhammad) as a witness against those. And We have sent down to you the Book making everything clear, as a guidance, and mercy, and glad tidings to those who submit. 89
