And now that We replace one message by another - since God is fully aware of what He bestows from on high, step by step - they [who deny the truth] are wont to say: "Thou but inventest it!" Nay, but most of them do not understand it! 101 Say: The holy Spirit hath delivered it from thy Lord with truth, that it may confirm (the faith of) those who believe, and as guidance and good tidings for those who have surrendered (to Allah). 102 And We know very well that they say, 'Only a mortal is teaching him.' The speech of him at whom they hint is barbarous; and this is speech Arabic, manifest. 103 Those that believe not in the signs of God, God will not guide; there awaits them a painful chastisement. 104 It is only those who believe not in the signs of Allah who fabricate lie, and those! they are the liars. 105 He who disbelieves in Allah after his having believed, not he who is compelled while his heart is at rest on account of faith, but he who opens (his) breast to disbelief-- on these is the wrath of Allah, and they shall have a grievous chastisement. 106 This is because the worldly life was dearer to them than the Hereafter; and because Allah does not guide such disbelieving people. 107 Such are they whose hearts and ears and eyes Allah hath sealed. And such are the heedless. 108 Without doubt, in the Hereafter they will perish. 109 ۞ Then, verily! Your Lord for those who emigrated after they had been put to trials and thereafter strove hard and fought (for the Cause of Allah) and were patient, verily, your Lord afterward is, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 110
