Hizb 46

AND, BEHOLD, Jonah was indeed one of Our message-bearers 139 He abandoned his people 140 And then they cast lots and he was the one who lost, 141 So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself 142 Had he not been of them who glorify Allah, 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on to the vacant surface of the earth while he was sick. 145 and We caused a gourd tree to grow over him. 146 And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more. 147 and they believed, and We gave them enjoyment for awhile. 148 (Muhammad), ask them, "Do daughters belong to your Lord and sons to them? 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, 151 "God has begotten (children)?" They are liars indeed! 152 Has He chosen daughters over sons? 153 “What is the matter with you? What sort of a judgement you impose!” 154 What, will you not remember? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 (They say): “Exalted be Allah above what they attribute to Him, 159 all of them except the chosen servants of Allah. 160 For, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship- 161 Can lead (any) into temptation concerning Allah, 162 except those who are doomed to enter hell. 163 [The angels say], "Every single one of us has his place assigned: 164 And most surely we are they who draw themselves out in ranks, 165 And verily we! we hallow. 166 They say, 167 If we had but a reminder from the men of old 168 we would surely have been God's chosen servants," 169 They therefore denied it, so they will soon come to know. 170 And, verily, Our Word has gone forth of old for Our slaves, the Messengers, 171 That undoubtedly, only they will be helped. 172 And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome. 173 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 174 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175 Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? 176 But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned. 177 Withdraw from them awhile 178 And watch and they shall see (the torment)! 179 Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him) 180 Peace be with the Messengers (of God). 181 and all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe. 182
Almighty Allah's Truth.
