The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
