The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 It will engulf them. 8 In columns outstretched. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
