۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
