Indeed, for the righteous with their Lord are the Gardens of Pleasure. 34 Then will We treat the Muslims like the criminals? 35 What is amiss with you? On what do you base your judgment [of right and wrong]? 36 Or do you have a scripture in which you learn 37 That therein is yours that which ye may choose? 38 Or have ye a covenant on oath from Us that reacheth to the Day of Judgment, that yours shall be all that ye ordain? 39 Ask them (O Muhammad) which of them will vouch for that! 40 Or have they any partners? Let them bring their partners then, if what they say is true. 41 On the Day when the leg shall be bared, and they are ordered to prostrate themselves, they will be unable. 42 Their eyes will be cast down,- ignominy will cover them; seeing that they had been summoned aforetime to bow in adoration, while they were whole, (and had refused). 43 So leave to Me those who reject this message. We shall lead them step by step to their ruin, in ways beyond their ken. 44 I am giving them a respite. Great is My scheme! 45 Or is it that thou dost ask them for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?- 46 Do they possess the knowledge of the unseen which confirms the truthfulness of their belief? 47 Exercise patience until the promise of your Lord (to punish the unbelievers) comes true. Do not be like Jonah (who left his people without the permission of God; he wanted them to be punished immediately), 48 If not that a favor from his Lord overtook him, he would have been thrown onto the naked shore while he was censured. 49 But his Lord chose him for His own and made him one of the righteous. 50 And those who disbelieve would almost smite you with their eyes when they hear the reminder, and they say: Most surely he is mad. 51 [Be patient:] for this is nought else but a reminder [from God] to all mankind. 52
